Construction Updates

Construction is Coming! In order to ensure the safety of our students and families during construction we met with the Highway Patrol to determine the safest plan. Beginning Monday, January 8, 2024 the following changes are being made and will be in effect until the new Early Childhood and Resource Center building is completed. (Anticipated August of 2024)

Changes to Parking, Drop Off, and Pick Up

#1: Resource Center Parking Lot

This parking lot will be closed. The gate between the Old Resource Center and the school will not be accessible.

#2: Front Parking Lot

The gate off of Buttonwillow Drive (by the gym) will no longer be opened for cars. Only driveway gates in front of the school (off of Highway 58) will be opened. Available for drop-off, some pick-up, and parking (if spaces are available east of the office). Parking will also be available in front of the gates off of Highway 58

#3: Back Parking Lot

Only accessible by heading south on Buttonwillow Drive. Northbound traffic will be blocked from entering the parking lot. Exit only through Dunford Street. This will be the main parking lot for drop-off and pick-up. All K-2nd grade students who are picked up will be taken to the back parking lot only after school and from after school programs.

In Town Bus Route Added


To help alleviate some of the traffic around the school, we will be adding a bus stop at 332 Willow Street (formerly Buttonwillow Community Baptist Church). Pick-up Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday will be between 7:55 am and 8:05 am. (Wednesday 8:55-9:05) Daily drop-off will be approximately 3:08 pm.

Resource Center Relocated

The Resource Center will be temporarily located in the Computer Lab at the back of the campus. If you need assistance from Resource Center staff, please call when you arrive and someone will come open the gate for you. They can still be reached at 764-9405.
